SMHS Resource Officer: Zane Taylor

As a school located unincorporated Fayette County Starr's Mill High School has a member of the Fayette County Sheriff's Department as our School Resource Officer (SRO). The purpose of the resource officer is to assist with security and safety of the students and faculty of Starr's Mill High School. SMHS's SRO helps with traffic logistics planning, works with students and faculty in promoting and implementing safe driving programs, serves as a guest speaker for classes where her expertise is beneficial, is available for students to discuss problems and questions concerning the law, and helps in many other ways.
