Life
Skills
Life Skills is a small group (6-8 students) opportunity to learn or enhance
a skill such as anger management, problem solving, organization, social
skills, etc. The group meets once a week for 6 weeks during the school
day. The time is typically rotated so that students do not miss
instruction for the same class each week. Participation requires
parent permission. The group is facilitated by a licensed
professional.
Parent
Resource Center
Many of our schools have a Parent Resource Center that provides for the loan
of books, audio tapes and videotapes sharing information regarding a variety
of topics most often specific to common parenting issues. Please check
with your school and/or the CARE Program Office regarding the loan of these
materials.
