All Summer
2008 classes are now full. The next opportunity for Driver's Education
classes will be Fall/Winter 2008, and registration will be held on Saturday,
August 2, 2008 from 8-9am. Drivers Education is a walk-in only registration.
Our
philosophy, at the Fayette County Community School driver’s education
program, is to provide a positive, calm and stress-free environment in which
young drivers can master better driving skills with the help of professional
and trained instructors.
The goal of
the instructors is to help young drivers improve their skills and correct
bad habits that they may have already acquired. Our instructors recommend a
minimum average of 2 hours of driving a week for the length of their permit
which would give them an average of 104 hours of experience in a year. More
experience makes for better and safer drivers.
Payment is
due at time of registration!
Cancellation
Policy:
There is a $25 cancellation fee and a $25 change fee
for the Driver Education classes
This class is designed for the 15-21 year old student. It includes 30 hours
of classroom instruction and 6 hours behind the wheel driving time.
Participants must possess a Georgia Learner’s Permit or valid Driver’s
License to register for Drivers Ed. Check with your insurance company
concerning premium reduction. |
