Bidder's List
Application |
Vendors
wishing to be placed on the Bidder’s List must make their request in writing
to the Fayette County Board of Education Purchasing Department. Requests
may be mailed to Terri Gerhardt, Purchasing/Inventory Management Agent,
Fayette County Board of Education, 210 Stonewall Avenue West, P.O. Box 879,
Fayetteville, Georgia 30214-0879.
Suppliers on the Fayette County Board of Education’s Bidder’s List may not
receive an invitation to bid every time a bid is issued. This is due to the
large number of suppliers listed in certain bid categories. |

Bids and
Procedures |

|
Fixed Quantity Bids
- One time bid issued at stock reorder point or when equipment, service,
repair or construction need occurs.
Open Bids
- Blank purchase or requirement contracts to fill requirements for fuel and
maintenance parts and services. These contracts will be issued for a
defined period of time (monthly, quarterly, and/or annually) and will
contain a maximum dollar amount that can be expended for the contract
duration.

Invoicing
Procedures |
|
Invoices
must not be altered in any way from the original by handwriting or by
machine. Computer-generated invoices are preferred. Invoices must contain
the company name, the remit to address, and the Fayette County Board of
Education purchase order number.
