School Health Services Staff:

Mission Statement
The School Health Services Program supports and enhances educational success by improving and protecting the health status of students through prevention, maintenance and education.

• Each Clinic cares for 25-100 students per day with illnesses, chronic health conditions and injuries.

• Each day 25-40 students receive medications
  at each school clinic.

In the 2007-08 school year, the Clinic Staff:

•  Cared for 151,461 students     (15,146 per month) •  Assisted 35,184 students with    medications (3,518 per month) •  Performed 16,471 special     procedures (such as blood sugar     checks, respiratory treatments,     catheterizations, tube feedings,     etc.) (1,647 per month)
