FRMS 4th Annual STEM Symposium on March 4th

On Saturday March 4, 2017 from 9A-12P, FRMS is putting on its Fourth Annual STEM Symposium. We are looking for people in STEM fields to present during a STEM-U-LATION Session. Would you be interested?

The purpose of the symposium is to expose students to careers in the STEM field. The commitment will entail you doing a 20 minute presentation 3 times, providing door prizes, hosting a booth in between sessions, conducting a STEM activity, OR whatever exciting thing that you feel will encourage students to pursue STEM careers. Although the event is open to students in grades k-12, our primary audience will be students in grades 5-8.

Also, if you have any other connections to other presenters (I am looking for at least 6) or sponsors who will donate STEM related door prizes, please let me know.

The event is FREE and will have give-a-ways and exposure to careers in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. There will be a maker station, STEM-u-lation sessions, lunch, and much more! There will also be booths with valuable information about the SCHS STEM Program and summer STEM opportunities.

Email Dr. Monica Reckley at if you are interested in volunteering in any way.

Thank you in advance for your help.
